Our client is one of the largest independent law firms in the Benelux. The beautiful Brussels office brings together around 70 lawyers and 30 business support professionals in a collaborative, international environment where teamwork, creativity and independent thinking are key.

Job Description

  • Supporting the Business Development Manager and partner group in daily business development activities
  • Drafting and coordinating pitches, client proposals and legal directory submissions
  • Supporting client and sector teams, ensuring actions are properly followed up and implemented
  • Conducting market and client analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities
  • Managing and maintaining BD databases
  • Providing operational support to the wider BMC team and assisting with events and communications when needed



The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Business, Law, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional services or consultancy environment (law firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Former lawyers are also considered a strong asset
  • Excellent command of English, Dutch and French (both written and spoken) - this is mandatory
  • Strong analytical and IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A natural sense of ownership and a "getting things done" mindset
