Our client is an American Biomedical company that specialises in examining blood samples. With this research, they try to develop medications for patients with long-term and chronic diseases. Since a few years the company is also located in Belgium, in Ghent.

Through their pioneering research, they are experiencing tremendous growth. To continue this research and to be able to help more and more people they are looking for new employees to support them.

Job Description

  • Processing of inventory receipts where you will match them to purchase orders.
  • Receiving of biohazard products (blood bags, viral vectors, …) in a controlled temperature environment. Following strict Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Repack and relabel temperature sensitive materials within a set timing.
  • Fill in and follow-up on registration documents and other administrative tasks related to the warehouse.
  • Resolve any receiving/picking/shipping/inventory complaint issues quickly and effectively

The Successful Applicant

  • Detail oriented character with a strong affinity to perform administrative work, fill out forms, logbooks, follow regular trainings.
  • Ability to work independently and successfully, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, integrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectively. Must be able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment.
  • Strength in communicating and working effectively with broad stakeholders in various scientific/technical/business disciplines.
  • Ability to promote a mindset of continuous improvement, problem solving, and prevention.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly adopt new systems and processes. Proficient in Excel, Word, and exposure to ERP and other financial accounting systems.
