Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments of chemical products, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers to manage orders and shipments.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, etc.).
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production and sales teams to optimize stock availability.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, especially those related to hazardous materials.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Negotiate rates with freight forwarders and carriers to control costs.

The Successful Applicant

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven experience in logistics
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English-you'll communicate with international partners daily.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and find solutions.
