About Our Client

Our client is a prestigious international law firm with a strong global presence. Their offices are located in the heart of Brussels, offering excellent accessibility via public transportation.

Job Description

  • Assist with daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash journals, expense tracking, and billing
  • Prepare payment batches using the firm's accounting software
  • Collaborate with personal assistants, matter handlers, partners, and the group billing team
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Manage VAT filings and declarations via OneGate
  • Support the testing and implementation of new accounting systems
  • Provide assistance with credit control activities
  • Draft and submit invoices
  • Handle document management tasks such as printing, scanning, and filing



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT tools
  • Native speaker of Dutch and fluent in French, with a good command of English
  • Organized, proactive, service-oriented, and adaptable
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude
