Job Description

As Inside Sales Specialist you will have the following responsibilities:

  • You handle customer inquiries in a sales-oriented manner.
  • You ensure clients receive relevant information with a particularly focus on air freight activities.
  • You endeavour to schedule appointments with potential clients for the Sales Representative; you promptly provide pricing details regarding air freight to (potential) clients or international branches.
  • You gather necessary information from clients to prepare offers.
  • You calculate prices based on current freight rates and input from your operational colleagues.
  • You actively monitor and follow up on sent offers.
  • You facilitate smooth communication with relevant departments to ensure seamless collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

  • Possesses strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written, to effectively handle customer inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Demonstrates excellent sales and negotiation abilities to secure appointments with potential clients and effectively present our client's services.
  • Shows proficiency in understanding and calculating pricing based on freight rates and input from operational colleagues.
  • You prioritise customer satisfaction.
  • You're highly motivated about air transport.
