Job Description

As an Import Agent your responsibilities are:

  • Manage and oversee all import operations efficiently.
  • Prepare and review necessary documentation for customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Monitor shipments and provide updates to clients as required.
  • Resolve any issues related to import logistics promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients regarding import procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Import Agent should have:

  • Educational background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Trilingual (FR/NL/EN)
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
