About Our Client

My client is a law firm, located near the centre of Brussels. The offices are accessible by public transport!

Job Description

After a period of training, you will progressively assume the wide range of responsibilities the position. These are mainly :

  • Welcoming newcomers so that they feel perfectly welcome from day one: drafting a first day: drafting a contract, setting up a welcome program, registering with insurers, etc, registration with insurance companies, etc.
    When a colleague leaves, you make sure that everything is completed according to procedures;
  • Personnel administration from A to Z. This includes the processing of salaries, sick leave, insurance, personnel database, reports, etc;
  • Recruitment assistance, development and publication of job offers, invitation of candidates, follow-up applicants, follow-up on applications.

In addition, you will work closely with the HR Manager on interesting HR projects.
The HR & Reception team consists of four people who enjoy working together.

The Successful Applicant

As an ideal candidate, the following characteristics match you:

  • You have a higher education degree, ideally in an administrative field, and at least a first experience in salary processing according to Belgian law;
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and French, both orally and in writing ;
  • You have good computer skills, in particular Excel, and you like to learn new software and learning new software;
  • You are solution-oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Above all, you have a positive and open attitude and you like to make sure that everything is well organized for your (future) colleagues.
