About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing & innovative FMCG group with presence all over Europe. With a strong commitment for quality of product and sustainability, they also value a good balance between private and work life.

Their new Belgian offices are located 2min away from Central Station (Brussels).

Job Description

  • Prepare the manual entries and month-end closing (including inter-company & related parties)
  • Assist with year-end closing (backed by Finance Manager)
  • Support on the preparation of the closing & management reporting
  • Prepare the VAT declaration
  • Prepare NBB declaration (Intrastat)
  • Support in the statutory audit process
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance projects (M&A, IT tools revamp, etc)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (good command of both national languages is a strong asset)
  • Excellent BEGAAP skills (USGAAP / NLGAAP is an interesting asset, but not mandatory)
  • A first experience working in an international company is an asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, strong problem solving and analysis skills
