This role is responsible for forecasting future product demand within a specific portfolio across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills and demand planning experience to build accurate forecasts, gather market insights, and collaborate with commercial teams to develop a regional demand plan aligned with business goals for the next 12-18 months.

Job Description

  • Develop accurate demand forecasts for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to gather market intelligence and integrate it into the monthly demand plan.
  • Monitor distributor orders versus forecast to ensure proper alignment and anticipate potential gaps.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and key KPIs, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage inventory parameters in SAP to ensure correct MRP execution and maintain high data accuracy.
  • Communicate proactively on supply risks, product availability, and lead times, ensuring transparency across the EMEA Commercial team.
  • Oversee inbound flows and warehouse operations to guarantee supply continuity and adherence to standard procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a graduate or university degree, with at least 3 years of experience in demand planning.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and solid knowledge of SAP, APS, and demand planning tools.
  • Fluent in English; experience in the medical device or healthcare sector is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, business acumen, and excellent planning skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • APICS certification or similar supply chain qualification is a plus
