The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, monitor market trends, and ensure optimal inventory levels to support business operations while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify and select reliable suppliers for food and beverage products (fresh, frozen, dry goods, etc.)


  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure the best value for the company


  • Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders in a timely manner


  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (sales, warehouse, logistics, quality control) to forecast demand and ensure product availability


  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply issues or disputes


  • Analyze market trends and conduct regular benchmarking to optimize purchasing strategies


  • Maintain accurate records of orders, contracts, and supplier information


  • Participate in the development of new product ranges and support product innovation initiatives

Profil recherché

Qualifications:



  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally within the food or FMCG sector


  • Strong negotiation and communication skills


  • Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage


  • Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French, English is a plus
