Job Description

As an Accountant, your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Prepare financial statements and VAT reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable and streamline accounting operations.
  • Receive on-the-job SAP training to become an SAP expert within a year.
  • Act as first contact for a European entity, applying a customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Learn company-specific processes and tax regulations from team leaders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
