Job Description

As a Supply & Demand Planner your responsibilities are:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and inventory strategies.
  • Monitor supply chain activities to ensure optimal inventory levels and avoid disruptions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align supply and demand plans with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to enhance demand planning accuracy.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain process.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate planning performance and key metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement & supply chain department.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and manage lead times effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply & Demand Planner should have:

  • Educational background in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in French & English; additional languages are advantageous.
