GENERAL LEDGER FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMPANY   (M/F)

About our client:

Our client is a trading company providing agrochemical products.
This is a multinational company that offers the experience of looking out over whole company activities and to be the only person responsible for the accounting.

Description:

As a General Accountant, you will report to the director of corporate planning and strategy. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Day to day accounting of the company
- Input in Exact Input in Exact purchase/sales contract and various operational changes)
- File documents and related paper works
- Participate actively in the monthly and quarterly closings including checking factors of aging, stock, ...
- G/L support in preparation of statutory annual accounts and income tax return
- Participate in preparing VAT declarations and other statutory returns
- Make brief summary of financial status of the company

Depending on the candidate's capability, the followings are to be added together with larger responsibilities:

- Make summary and analysis reports of financial status of the company
- Support to internal control requested by the Japanese parent companies

Candidate profile:

- You have a Bachelor in Accounting
- You possess at least 3 years experience as a General Accountant
- You are fluent in English and have really good knowledge in French and/or Dutch
- Autonomous and team player, you are able to manage yourself
- You are organized and able to respect deadlines
