About Our Client
For our client, a major actor specialised in the management, insurance and financing of trade receivables., we are looking for an Account and Sales Manager in Brussels
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Develop network of potential clients and secure new mandates
- Managed selected accounts on a day to day basis
- Deal with traditional credit insurers in the Benelux and in Europe.
- Capacity to lead wording negotiations
- Leveraging the resources of our group
- Working in direct relation with clients
Your working environment & relations:
- You will be part of a small team (first local new team member - new eventually to join in the coming year)
- You will effectively be in touch with practically all aspects of the business.
- This requires a high degree of flexibility / proactive initiative.
- Ad-hoc training (in-house and credit insurance companies) according to your seniority level and previous experience or not in the industry.
- Product knowledge, market knowledge and teams / people knowledge
- You will start with managing existing client servicing and develop with the Benelux MD a portfolio of new clients.
- In-house training on products, markets, insurers and tools
- Report to Account Director and or Managing Director
The Successful Applicant
- University graduate or equivalent
- Language skills, fluency in foreign language(s) preferred NL, FR, ENG
- Work experience in (receivables) risk market either underwriting or broking either in the banking or trading space
- Autonomous & proactive approach to both commercial and contract management securing long-term stable and profitable client relations
- You have a problem solving attitude and think ahead of client needs and solutions we can offer
- Desire to develop a new business
- Strong interpersonal skills at CFO / CEO level
- You share the values of trust and work ethics of a typical family business
